Nightlife

The 1920’s, known as the Roaring Twenties, were a time of prohibition during which alcohol was outlawed. Nonetheless, many people were having the time of their lives. Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce is based on a 1920’s speakeasy—an underground club where people once bought alcohol illegally. Forty Deuce is a hip spot with burlesque dancers and two separate bars. If you like clubs with a theme or you just want to try something new, then Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce is a must. There is only one place in Las Vegas that advertises martinis and manicures—the Beauty Bar, a unique club with an interesting theme. The interior was salvaged from the late-50’s Capri Salon of Beauty in Trenton, New Jersey. There are old-style hair dryer chairs and long beauty salon-like mirrors. Live DJ’s spin music seven nights a week so you can stop by for some fun and pamper yourself anytime.

Want a special place to take that special someone? Peppermill’s Fireside Lounge was voted one of the best make-out spots in the country by Nerve Magazine. Its cozy booths, fire pit and intimate atmosphere make Peppermill’s over-the-top romantic. The waitresses sit down at your booth while you order your drinks and make you feel at home. Some people spend hours just talking and sipping on the house special drink—served in a fish-bowl glass—called the Scorpion. Las Vegas has a limitless nightlife and that is just one of the things that makes the city so special. You can throw your inhibitions to the wind, get together with some close friends or have the time of your life with those you just met. Just remember what they say: What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
