The building is very tall and sleek. There is nothing flashy about it but its elegance speaks for itself. The resort is supposed to represent art imitating nature. By using nature as a starting point, the builders were able to set the structure into the landscape more comfortably then other Las Vegas resorts. Another example of modern architecture is the cloud that hovers over the entrance of The Fashion Show Mall. The enormous canopy is also a media platform that becomes a movie screen at night. During the day the 128-foot-high and 480-foot-long metal cloud provides shade at the entrance to the mall. The Fashion Show Mall is the premier shopping destination in Las Vegas. The cloud is like a symbol of its size and reputation. The cloud attracts the attention of people traveling down the Strip and draws them into the Mall.
