DiningThe Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere hovers 800 feet above the ground and slowly turns 360 degrees during the course of an hour to give diners a sensational view of the entire city of Las Vegas. The continental cuisine is excellent and once you’ve finished your entrée consider splurging on their dessert called the Chocolate Stratosphere—a chocolate replica of the tower covered in vanilla and chocolate sauce. If you’re a chocoholic, this is one dessert you shouldn’t miss. Osaka started as a small Japanese restaurant with a sushi bar, hibachi room and a few traditional Japanese tables with pillows on the floor. It was the first authentic Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas and it has been family owned and operated since 1968. Osaka recently opened new restaurants in Summerlin and Green Valley. The new restaurants are more modern than the original and part of the menu has a Western influence. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese food, including some of the freshest sushi available in the desert, then you’re sure to find Osaka to be one of the best places in town. There are so many fabulous restaurants in Las Vegas that it’s really quite easy to find great food and excellent service. |
